Accident Compensation web design
What did we do?
With all the brand elements now firmly established, we turned our attention to designing an developing the brand spanking new Accident Compensation’s website. The biggest challenge we faced was to design and build a website that suited the business and brand ethos and was simple to navigate through, but more importantly stood out from its many competitors.
The client quite rightly wanted to avoid the salesy/pushy tone that can be found on many of the competitors accident compensation websites. The work we’d already done to establish the illustration style and building blocks of the brand, helped us to achieve the right blend of seriousness and personality/warmth.
The colour palette we’d developed was perfect for the website. The colour green has a calming effect, along with strong emotional correspondence with safety and healing. The zingy lime yellow shade we’d chosen added a feel-good factor, whilst creating an appealing, fresh look that ran throughout the site.
What did we achieve?
The call to action is the most important component of any website, and it should be easy for the customer to locate. We achieved this by including a phone number on every section banner throughout the site.
Our character illustrations were used prominently across the website. Every time a user selected a different accident topic from the menu, the illustration changed accordingly, and the relevant information was displayed, along with an instant call to action.
The website was optimised for all key word phrases relating to personal injury, which is arguably THE most competitive field of search engine optimisation. Achieving top-ranking positions in this tough market was always going to be tricky, but we’ve never been ones to dodge a challenge and boy did we deliver!
The website currently ranks for all applicable search terms and web traffic has risen dramatically over the past year.
The website was a huge hit with the client, and even won the Hermes International Gold Award for ‘Best Web Design’ in 2011!
