What did we do?
We didn’t think it was fair to have this lovely brand limited to purely digital channels, so we worked closely with Woodhouse to create a printed sales piece for seasonal promotions. In-keeping with the crafted essence of the brand, the final piece was a concertina folded postcard sized item that could easily be picked up in store or packed away with every mail order. This un-intrusive piece of sales collateral used all the key brand ingredients of stunning brand imagery, a warm and earthy colour palette with the now rampant Woodhouse brand personality.
We know how it goes with sales collateral, it’s typically picked up, screwed up and thrown away so we wanted all Woodhouse printed sales collateral to be something worth keeping. By making sure the content was as intriguing as the Woodhouse look and feel. By introducing a series of beautifully designed tear-off vouchers that are almost too cool to cash in we managed to demonstrate to Woodhouse that even the most simple of communications can be done in a way that engages on a whole new level.
What did we achieve?
Apart from producing a stunning piece of sales collateral, we were able to increase the awareness around the value of brand communications, especially those that are directly in contact with the consumer. Sales literature and brochures offers typically had the least time spent on them, yet they are often relied upon to drive sales and revenue, so for us with all our retail experience, it made perfect sense to put just as much work into the creative offer concepts and page layouts as anything else.
Again, by wrapping the content up in this season’s latest Woodhouse brand tools; colour palette, thoughtful image use, wonderful graphic devices and written just how it should be we saw dramatic increases in engagement from all their sales collateral. Customers stop, look, read, take away and come back to order and feel comfortable doing so. No hard sell, no confused messaging, just the lovely warm Woodhouse way of reaching out to the consumers and making them feel special.
