Senior Account Manager

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join an award winning agency as a fundamental part of its future growth strategy. Working within a vibrant, creative, central Manchester environment, you’ll lead a small client services team.

Working closely with the digital marketing and web teams, you’ll be responsible for creating, delivering and reporting on client campaigns, building accounts and offering strategic planning support.

As part of the agencies senior management team, the successful candidate will help to shape the future direction of the agency, attending regular senior management meetings. As part of the leadership team, the successful candidate will also participate in leadership training and will be allocated an external mentor.  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years B2C account management experience, developing client accounts within a growing agency.

 

Essential Day to Day Outputs:

  • Digital Marketing & Campaign Management - experience managing campaigns from client brief to determining the right mix of marketing, managing the execution through the studio and reporting during and post campaign.

  • Marketing Planning - able to work alongside new & existing clients to develop marketing plans and overseeing the measurement and reporting over time.

  • Pitching & Business Development - experience managing the pitch process, taking advantage of new opportunities that arise from time to time.

 

Typical Activities Include:

  • The day-to-day management of client accounts with support from the account team

  • Regular communication and liaison with clients, from mid to senior management

  • Management of clients budget specific to a campaign/project

  • Generating accurate contact/status reports

  • Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget

  • Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the creatives to the best possible -creative output

  • Campaign planning, management and reporting

  • Recognising new business opportunities within the business (with the existing client base)

  • Nurture an account manager and also the account management skills of other agency skills specialists that come into contact with clients

  • As part of the senior team, drive pixel8’s direction and strategy

 

Experience Required:

  • Experience in professional client relationship management

  • A solid background in campaign management, marketing and account management

  • The ability to plan at a mid to senior -level management

  • Excellent written, oral communication and commercial skills

  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms

  • Demonstrable track record in developing accounts

  • Experience of working with both retained and project basis clients

Senior Developer (PHP, HTML, CSS)

 

Are you a knowledgeable Senior Developer who has PHP, HTML, CSS experience who loves short and long term projects alike?

  • Experience +3 years
  • Location Northern Quarter, Manchester.
  • Salary £38k+ Depending On Experience

 

The Role

Our new Senior Developer will be required to work on client projects including website and email templates and other work coming into the studio. The majority of the work is PHP, HTML and CSS small web projects and maintenance of existing projects.

PHP, HTML and CSS experience is essential with some basic JavaScript preferred. Freelance or Contract work seeing projects through from inception to completion would be beneficial.
