Accident Compensation provide free legal advice to people seeking compensation following an accident. They work on behalf of their clients to ensure that if they have been injured in an accident that wasn’t their fault, they receive a level of compensation that properly reflects the impact their injuries have had on their life.

We looked (in our usual in-depth way) at the Electricity North West brand as it was and considered where it wanted and needed to go. We realised quickly that character design and creation would become important for the on-going development of the ENW brand. In order to reach out to children and adults, the style of the character had to be inventive and memorable, something to reflect the friendly, welcoming nature of all that is Electricity North West (and Pixel8!).

So what do you do when your client calls and tells you… “We need to engage with a large group of stakeholders, raise awareness of their corporate responsibility agenda, plan how to cut emissions, care for the environment and support their communities. We need to outline what the stakeholders themselves should do in order to invest in sustainable energy and ensure a green future for all. In a way that is easy to digest, visually striking and very easy to understand?”

We created rules for typeface, colour, imagery and fonts and put our arms around them to bring them together in a big Bargain Crazy/Pixel8 hug. The brand guide itself is a beautiful, hardback 16page book and its job is to illustrate and advise. The rules are laid out clearly and intuitively, so absorbing the essential information is easy.

We gave the Bargain Crazy brand a complete facelift. We carried out our usual background research on the brand as a whole, carefully considering the current, target and future markets. We also researched their major competitors (in a similarly thorough fashion) colour palettes, logos, photography style, fonts and typefaces, all in search of a unique look and feel for this brand.

Our relationship with 3i began when we were approached to re-design the monthly internal magazine. The magazine is a communication tool featuring news relevant to employees worldwide and is distributed in 13 countries. 3i knew that we were the people to give the magazine a big old breath of fresh air.
