UK Fitness Network
What did we do?
The UK Fitness Network brings together all the not-for-profit leisure centres in the UK under one umbrella. As a member, you get access to your main leisure centre, as well as a national network. So whether you’re at home, at work or on holiday, you’re never far away from a leisure centre you can use. A strong concept, but when they first approached Pixel8, they were struggling to define who they were and how to communicate the offer. The network consists of lots of different centres, each with its own personality and look and feel. In a nutshell, the lack of a coherent brand was holding them back.
We came in to create a slick, professional identity that would put them on a more level playing field. Our track record in working with world-renowned sports and leisure brands ensured we were the top of the pile when it came to selecting an agency. Challenge accepted, we created a distinct brand style including new brand logo, icons, colour palette and font. The result? A combination that shouts ‘UK sport and fitness’.
Brand identity sorted, we then built a cracking website that brought together all elements of their offer, making it clear and appealing to customers. A postcode search and centre directory ensured that members could find important information in a flash.
What did we achieve?
In creating the UK Fitness Network brand, we scored 3 key goals. We clarified their offer to customers. Established a set of design guiding principles that will stand them in good stead on a super high platform for years to come. And gave them the tools they need to market themselves professionally and consistently. In short, we created a unique, national brand that’s becoming ever more established in a competitive market.
And to top it off, we built a shiny new website that not only acts as a shop window for the new brand, but also provides their customers with all the info they need to get the most out of their membership.
