What did we do?
Tipton Training approached us to design a new and complete brand identity. The company provide courses for dental professionals, primarily in Manchester and London. They offer practical training sessions, teaching best practice across a range of disciplines, and covering the latest clinical techniques and developments in dentistry. The firm is owned by acclaimed restorative dentist Paul Tipton who has a brilliant reputation in the industry and is regarded by many as the "dentist's dentist". That kind of brand equity simply can’t be bought, so it was a great starting point for us. We created the brand from the ground up, starting with the logo design, which utilised an elegant, professional font, and a pale blue and black colour scheme.
When the basics were in place, we progressed on to the website design, which we built using Drupal. The emphasis on the website was very much about the quality and content of the courses, so we gave the information plenty of room to breathe, with a clear layout and lots of white space. To complement the site, we then designed and produced a range of printed offline materials including leaflets, brochures, pull up banners and A boards.
What did we achieve?
To begin with, the website that we designed and developed was a simple online ‘brochure’, although it did have a dedicated news/blog section. There’s nothing wrong with that, who doesn’t love simplicity? But over the years some additions have been necessary. We have amended and developed the site to include secure areas for students to download course materials and access webinars. We’ve also implemented an ecommerce solution, allowing students to make secure credit card payments to gain tiered access to the secure sections of the website.
We have taken a great, successful business and added some of our Pixel8 glitter. This was a great project and we’re looking forward to helping Tipton Training put smiles on the faces of dentists and their patients for many years to come.
