What did we do?

Earlier this year we entered a four way pitch to design and produce a clear set of brand guidelines for Investors in People (IIP). In true Pixel8 style we delivered a cracking pitch, won the day and were commissioned to develop and improve their complete range of brand collateral.

We designed over 80 pieces of collateral; posters, press releases, corporate stationary, case studies, e-newsletters and much more.  We re-worked the brand mark position to include partner logos, which equates to providing a solution for all of their co-brand needs and as a result produced over 400 logo variants, all under the IIP brand. We were provided with a suite of new photography and we incorporated this into the designs that we created, combining the two injected flashes of the true IIP personality and character. Next up was the IIP website, inevitably we needed to make sure that it complemented the new brand we had worked so hard on. We produced a design theme to reflect this and applied it to the homepage, navigation bar, button theme and colour palette to guarantee that our friend ‘consistency’ is prevalent across all the elements of the brand.

What did we achieve?

Investors in People (IIP) have enjoyed enormous success in creating a trusted message. We achieved a more structured and focused brand for IIP whilst maintaining this significant heritage. To complement the total brand refresh, we produced a definitive set of brand guidelines to illustrate exactly how the Investors in People brand should be applied when creating artwork and across all collateral. Our final achievement for IIP was the creation of a Client Welcome Pack which celebrates the recognition awarded to a client of IIP when they achieve the required status. At Pixel8 we love people and we love that IIP is so committed to encouraging nationwide investment of folks like us.

It was a great partnership and we’re very proud to have been involved in the rebranding of this great British institution.
