What did we do?

National law firm DWF are experts in their field. Their authoritative, yet no nonsense approach has won them accolades in the industry, including ‘national law firm of the year, 2011’. When they needed a platform to help raise their profile in the industry even further, they naturally turned to the experts in our field for a helping hand. 

DWF specialise in commercial law, and have a mainly business-to-business client base. To help them stand out in a competitive market, they wanted to position themselves as thought leaders in fraud prevention and data protection – hot topics for many UK businesses.

We jumped on board to create a smart, new space in the blogosphere that DWF could call their own. 

What did we achieve?

The result was www.privacyinpractice.com – a clean, fresh blog that’s as appealing as it is informative. The brief called for a space that wasn’t part of the main DWF website, and that gave DWF’s privacy solicitors an opportunity for sharing their knowledge. Our design achieved those objectives, and ensured it was still in keeping with the DWF brand.

With the design in the bag, we then delivered training on how to use the new platform, including tips on effective SEO copywriting.

Since launching in September 2012, the blog has gone from strength to strength, and for a site that prides itself on privacy, it’s been enormously popular! They’ve even used the blog site as a springboard for social networking activity. We can’t take all the credit though. One of the key reasons for its success has been DWF’s enthusiasm for the project, with new blog posts being added every week. After all, there’s no point having a fresh, new site design, without fresh, new content.

The good folks at DWF are as pleased as punch with their newly-designed blog and it’s given them the perfect platform to voice their opinions on a wide range of privacy-related subjects.  Not bad for the experts in our fields, eh?
