Cheadle Hulme School
What did we do?
At Pixel8 we love clever and emotionally intelligent people, we employ them (always) and nurture them. We are great believers in the benefits to all of us of an individual person’s ‘good’ education. Hence, we were chuffed to bits when Cheadle Hulme School (a leading independent school that will celebrate its 160th year in 2015) approached us to pitch for the design and print of their 34 page school magazine.
We went and said ‘hello’ and provided the team there with ideas for the title and content. Also, options for the logo options, colour palette, fonts and image style. A complete look and feel. We won the pitch and have since designed and printed a magazine that is a perfect reflection of the ethos, heritage and aims of CHS.
What did we achieve?
Together we achieved an engaging magazine that provides an insight into how Cheadle Hulme School helps children to thrive, and illustrates the delight and pride that the school takes in doing so. CHS has an outstanding reputation as one of the most exceptional co-educational schools in Britain and we want to help them to celebrate this. We created a magazine that is cerebral, informative and interesting, which of course are just some of the attributes that the school is famous for. We designed infographics, included some beautiful illustrations and created a pull-out 2015 calendar. The magazine succeeds in delivering important content in an accessible way. It allows for the sharing of interesting details about teachers, staff and students and keeps parents and any interested parties informed and updated on school news. Great stuff!
