What did we do?
Boxfresh Organics grow, prepare and deliver boxes of organic fruit and vegetables to households across the country.
They approached Pixel8 with a requirement for a brand refresh and a new website. They already had a web presence, but it didn’t reflect the successful company Boxfresh Organics had grown into over the past few years.
We knew Boxfresh would be a fantastic brand to work on, and we were very happy to take on the challenge. We started by looking at the brand and its competitors. The organic food market has boomed in recent years and more local and national companies (and communities) involved with its provision and delivery are enjoying an increased market share.
Boxfresh really wanted to stand out from others in the same competitive field, but more than that, they wanted their brand to accurately reflect their values and their business personality.
What did we achieve?
We came up with a proposal that really embodied the Boxfresh brand. It was fresh, natural and wholesome. The logo incorporated a distinctive tree icon, which we felt would lend itself to multiple applications and eventually become an instantly recognisable mark. The colour palette consisted of earthy browns and natural, organic colours, which immediately conveyed the kind of company Boxfresh Organics were.
Once the brand design was signed off, we applied the same earthy design principles to the website, adding in beautiful local imagery that continued the rustic, organic feel, with torn cardboard edges, wooden logs and earth clad produce.
We created a simple postcode search facility, so that customers could quickly find out if Boxfresh delivered in their area. Alongside this beautiful, functional and appropriate new website we produced a gorgeous recipe finder book, so that customers could find some culinary inspiration once their box of green goodies had been delivered. It really added value to the site, and ensured that they now stand out from their competitors.
With the brand established and the website launched, we then moved on to marketing collateral, applying the same great look and feel to the company’s stationery, brochures, exhibition stands and vehicle livery. Well, we certainly planted our creative seeds on this one and we're looking forward to seeing the business grow over the coming years.
