What did we do?

3i isn't just a big organisation; it's massive. It was established in 1945 by the Bank of England and has grown to become one of the biggest and best known private equity firms in the business with £10.5 billion total assets under its management. 3i also has 101 core portfolios around the world and in the year to 31st March 2012 they invested £646 million and realised £771 million. They're based in the heart of London with tentacles stretching across the globe. 3i is in the business of big money with an obvious history of investing in successful companies.

Firstly, pixel8 were challenged with changing the way that 3i manages its events and reaches out to potential attendees. We developed a bespoke event management system, which enables innovative e-mail templates to be created, sent and RSVP'd. We took the time to ensure that we fully understood what 3i needed to achieve and prioritise. We provided access to a straightforward, 'real time' understanding of where, in the booking system process, the user is up to. At the same time, the attendee is now given specified real time information before events and feedback afterwards.
The system highlights how beautiful design, teamed with cutting-edge technology, provides a responsive solution to our friends at 3i.

What did we achieve?

We have designed invitations to their events and created tactile and quality brochures for delegates. We produced iSIGHT magazine, which focuses on the healthcare sector (where 3i currently invests over £1 billion globally) to further illustrate their acute sector knowledge..

The quality of the support material used in presentations is integral to the success of 3i presentations, which of course are made all over the world to lots of very important folk. They need to be dynamic, stylish and store information in an interesting and accessible way.  We provide presentations creatively illustrated in Director, Flash and PowerPoint, all continually updated with the new portfolios that the company acquires. Inevitably, 3i is constantly updating its venture portfolio within the different sectors. Together, over the years, we've built a relationship that has elicited mutual trust. 3i knows that we will create and provide full colour brochures to highlight new projects that they invest in globally.
