Vacancy - Senior Account Manager

 

You will be directly responsible for the management and growth of a small number of accounts together with the introduction of 1 new account within the year.

You’ll be able to demonstrate that you’ve managed integrated marketing campaigns on behalf of established brands ideally in the hotel and leisure sector.

In your existing role, you’ll have gained a lot of direct response experience, be the go-to contact for the client and be able to demonstrate how you’ve grown revenues and relationships over time.

Your Role as Senior Account Manager

  • Be accountable for the growth of a small number of already established accounts

  • Drive revenue by realising and finding new opportunities to better service clients

  • Support account director to nurture leads to introduce a new client within the year

Experience

  • At least 4 years experience within the account management team of a medium/large agency.

  • Manages integrated campaigns with lots of digital elements is essential.

  • An understanding of the print process is required.

  • Currently working with professional marketing managers in large organisations

  • Experienced in  managing work through a studio

Skills

  • Marketing degree

  • Accuracy

  • Used to juggling, managing projects through from concept to completion

  • Fully conversant with Microsoft suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to create retained solution based relationships

Nice To Haves

  • CIM qualification

  • Experience working with agency management software such as Xero, WorkFlow.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a small number of key accounts, including:

    • A national bowling organisation

    • Regional sports centres with a national presence

    • Well known hotel brands

  • Introduce 1 new accounts within the year, nurtured from existing leads
     

Other

  • Central Manchester based with an element of travel to and from client premises, the furthest currently being central London

Package

  • Salary dependant on experience

  • Option to join Bupa scheme after six months of service

  • 24 days holiday per year

  • 9 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday, discretionary option to leave at 5 pm on a Friday.
