We Love Manchester!

In the wake of the riots something much more important than a little social disorder emerged in this great city. An amazing community spirit seemed to develop like never before, Manchester City Council were quick to respond with their “I (heart) MCR” campaign, echoing the iconic New York slogan that was embraced by New Yorkers, tourists and fans the world over.

The campaign has taken off on a large scale and shops, bars, restaurants and cafes are adorned with the rapidly growing slogan. People are wearing the T-shirts, tables are covered in the drinks coasters and windows are full of the posters. Just like New York, Manchester is undergoing a branding revolution. The city is making a name for itself more than ever before and it’s residents are at the very forefront of this movement, happy to show that they really do ‘love Manchester’.

Although we don’t have a high street window to show it, the Pixel8 office has also become decorated with this great slogan, our very own Al Woods decided to take to the streets to capture his love for the city, take a look and see if you can recognise where he is:

Manchester Sport & Leisure Trust Appoint Pixel8 for Design and Marketing

Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust, the not-for-profit company which manages 19 Manchetser sports facilities including the Manchester Aquatics Centre and Sportscity has appointed Pixel8 as their sole design and marketing agency.

Initial projects for Pixel8 include corporate branding, brand guide design, logo design, website design with a CMS system and a full marketing awareness campaign.

As a full service graphic design, web design, creative branding and marketing agency Pixel8 were perfectly placed to deliver the complete project.

Pixel8 won the contract because of the creative branding experience we have within our creative team, the combined technical expertise of our in-house web designers and web developers, and also because we are able to create the entire design and marketing campaign in-house.

Gap Consulting Award Logo Design and Brand Development to Pixel8

Pixel8, the design and marketing agency in Manchester were very pleased to win the web design and web development contract for Microsoft CRM specialists Gap Consulting.

Always wanting to give our clients a service above and beyond the brief, we also approached them with a new corporate identity and brand development which would form the basis of the new look and feel for the new website.

The new logo design was welcomed warmly by Gap Consulting and as a result Pixel8’s design team also carried out their stationery design and produced design templates for them to produce newsletters using their new logo design and corporate branding.
