The web design and corporate branding teams at Pixel8 in Manchester have launched a new brand and a new website for a UK business locations portal.

locations4business provides comprehensive and comparable information on all potential business locations in the UK. It’s a one-stop-shop for companies within and outside the UK looking to establish new business operations.

The website helps existing companies, start ups and investors to find the best locations for their organisation and provides detailed information required to make an initial evaluation.

Pixel8 created the brand identity, a new logo design, the website design and web development of a CMS system and an integrated database.

This was the case with the website for the Expert Patients Programme. Our web design and web development teams took the existing web design and developed it into a fully functional website with an easy to use content management system (CMS), which allows the client to update the website themselves.

The new web design is now hosted on a Linux server and we provide routine maintenance including installing patches to the CMS system, Linux server software updates and patches and website traffic reporting.

We’ve worked on many large packaging design projects with well known brands including Manchester United and Dorma and the development of sub brands for Virginware. Exciting new package design projects include a range of Halloween products using a character we designed for BJ Toys and a new sports drinks range which is currently under wraps!

Recently completed web design projects include Livewire in April, a flash animation website, and a new website design for Lorimer Foster Services in May, which includes advanced website search facilities.

Currently being developed are new web designs for Boxfresh Organics, including a complex postcode search facility; a new website for BJ Toys, which is a fully automated e-commerce website and a new web design project for Leighmann’s, another e-commerce website design that includes 1000’s of products. Both of these new e-commerce websites will be live in July 2008.

The new logo design was welcomed warmly by Gap Consulting and as a result Pixel8’s design team also carried out their stationery design and produced design templates for them to produce newsletters using their new logo design and corporate branding.
