Our graphic design team has completed a new logo design for Tipton Training, on behalf of Paul Tipton who is one of the most respected providers of advanced dental training courses in the UK and Internationally.

We have also started work on Tipton’s print design work including business stationery which incorporates the new logo.

The new logo uses a contemporary typeface, with the icon based on a technical drawing of how a perfect smile is calculated.

Our web design and SEO teams are now developing a new website for Tipton Training which will be launched within the next few weeks.

We’ve been busy building an intranet demo to help clients see just what’s possible.  Intranet’s are a great way to communicate internally.  An intranet is essentially a website that is only accessible to a group chosen by the administrator.  The benefits of improved communication, moral and ultimately productivity make an intranet, an invaluable resource.

This week we had something to really smile about, as we will once again be working with one of the UK’s top dental experts Dr. Paul Tipton.

Tipton Training have asked us to design a new logo, create a new website design with search engine optimisation (SEO) and to design new print materials including business stationery and marketing leaflets.

Based on our previous successful creative graphic design work we carried out for Paul whilst at St. Ann’s Dental, it’s a job we’re really looking forward to sinking our teeth in to!

The problem with a lot of website contact forms which then email the contents, is the problem of SPAMBOTS which crawl through the web, looking for forms and filling in the fields with junk before sending them to the recipient.

One way of battling this problem is with form validation one form of which is the CAPTCHA method whereby the user has to fill in the image shown to them at the end of the form. SPAMBOTS cannot “read” this image so the contents of the spam is not forwarded on and only human responses are received.

So to reduce SPAM for our telecom client Vodat International, we have just implemented the CAPTCHA form validation which should dramatically reduce their SPAM and wasted time. This has been undertaken as part of our ongoing website maintenance, online marketing and search engine optimisation (SEO) services for Vodat.

Pixel8 were approached by Solutions for Housing with the opportunity to design and develop a contemporary, innovative and distinctive new brand, and a new website.

Solutions for Housing are a new business that offers specialist consultancy in the social housing sector. Having discussed the nature of the company and its aims, our graphic designers set to work designing the new logo, developing several design concepts, colour options and icon graphics. From this selection, our client was then able to mix and match elements from each to come to a final solution.

With this stage now signed off, our web design team were then able to take the logo and show how it may live across the website, tailoring the design capabilities to suit the specific requirements of the housing market and to also reflect the quality and professionalism of the service.

Pixel8 were delighted to be involved in the design of this exciting new brand and look forward to further creative ventures in the coming months.

As part of our continuing service for the Tullis Russell Group, we  are now providing web hosting and support for the Tullis Russell website, which is now hosted on one of our dedicated servers.

As well as transferring the current website to our servers, we have also integrated the new web design for the Papermakers section of the website, gradually bringing the look and feel of the site up to date.

Our web design and development team recently designed, built and broadcast an e-mail marketing campaign for Lifestyle Blinds.

Using our HTML email broadcasting system we designed a compelling email campaign, send it to the client as a PDF for approval, build the HTML version, and then distributed the campaign to an email list that was supplied as a CSV file.

Immediately after the email campaign was launched, the client was also able to view detailed statistics such as the number of emails sent, received, bounced and read over time and the number of clicks into the website.

The Pixel8 graphic design and web design agency in Manchester have recently carried out a successful logo design and corporate branding development exercises for a new venture called Company Right Move.

The new website which will launch in early 2010 to help businesses to re-locate by providing an online directory of economic development agencies.

This week sees the launch of the ‘Swim for free’ campaign, a joint initiative between Manchester City Council and Manchester Sports and Leisure Trust (MSLT).

Anybody under the age of 16 or over 60 is eligible to swim for free at any of Manchester’s eleven swimming pools.

Pixel8 created graphic designs for leaflets and exhibition banner stands for each location and added additional pages on the MSLT website, with accompanying online resources for swimmers to download and register. The Manchester Sports and Leisure Trust website design was developed by Pixel8 in 2008.

The web design team at Pixel8 in Manchester will be restructuring the GAP Consulting website this month by improving and freshening a few features.

The website navigation will receive an overhaul, with a recoded menu and easy to navigate ‘quick links’ menu. We’ll be improving site usability by adding a fully customised Google site search, as it’s a cost effective and efficient way of searching for content on a website.

We’ll also be carrying out some search engine optimisation (SEO) work and having a general clean up of code, to improve overall usability and adding clean, bright new banners will complete the look.
