In true Movember spirit, some of the boys at Pixel8 decided to sacrifice the dignity of their top lip in order to raise awareness of Prostate and Testicular Cancer. They put on a splendid effort and earned Kudos from their bald lipped colleagues. There’s not much else to say other than good effort guys, now go fetch that razor, you look daft.

Katy, our beloved Creative Artworker has finally given birth to a bouncing baby boy. Yesterday morning at 10.08am Alfie James Webber was born at a healthy 8lbs 6oz after a tremendous 41 hours in labour (phew). Katy is doing great and looking to leave hospital very soon, in her own words “Katy and Alfie are wicked…. Daddy is walking on air!”

Our congratulations go out to Katy and her family and we can’t wait to see pictures of the little fella. We can’t wait to have Katy back either but we suppose we will have to wait a while.

P&N Magazine approached Pixel8 to help them redesign their existing website as well as integrating an easy to use CMS and a blog. With the latest appointment of Project Manager Emma Walsh, Pixel8, which recently moved into larger offices in the Northern Quarter, have effectively doubled their internal resources over the past twelve months.

With a background in software project management, Emma has been brought in from a major software company to coordinate longer term software-based solutions for the fast growing Manchester agency.

The Pixel8 graphic design and web design agency in Manchester have recently carried out a successful logo design and corporate branding development exercises for a new venture called Company Right Move.

The new website which will launch in early 2010 to help businesses to re-locate by providing an online directory of economic development agencies.

The Pixel8 graphic design agency in Manchester were chosen to design a new free swimming campaign for Manchester City Council and the Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust.

Titled “Grab Your Goggles” Pixel8 provided graphic design for leaflets and exhibition exterior pull up banners which were printed in-house using Pixel8’s large format printers.

Promoting the fact that Manchester swimming pools are now free of charge for people aged 16 and under and the over 60’s in all eleven swimming pools across the city.

The campaign was well received and Pixel8 are looking forward to supporting the Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust, and Manchester City Council in the future.

Pixel8, the design and marketing agency in Manchester were very pleased to win the web design and web development contract for Microsoft CRM specialists Gap Consulting.

Always wanting to give our clients a service above and beyond the brief, we also approached them with a new corporate identity and brand development which would form the basis of the new look and feel for the new website.

The new logo design was welcomed warmly by Gap Consulting and as a result Pixel8’s design team also carried out their stationery design and produced design templates for them to produce newsletters using their new logo design and corporate branding.
