Coinciding with a truly diverse sporting weekend hosting the UCI World Track Cup and the 1st BTCB British International Taekwondo Open, Manchester Sport and Leisure Trust officially launched its new brand design and new website design that were both developed by the Pixel8 design and marketing agency in Manchester.

The new website brings together 19 indoor sport and leisure facilities on behalf of Manchester City Council and is one of the most significant collections of sporting venues in the UK, including Sportcity; the largest concentration of sporting venues in Europe and a permanent legacy from the Manchester XVII Commonwealth Games 2002.

NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) have appointed Pixel8 to develop their new website design, incorporating all current website content and integrating with existing internal technologies.

NIACE is the leading non-governmental organisation for adult learning in England and Wales, and as such require high standards of accessibility, functionality and user experience. The brand new website, including a new bookshop selling NIACE publications online, news, free-to-download resources and article archives, will be launched in November.

The new website will also have Conference and Event booking capabilities, using the Event Manager Live product provided by our partner in project Gap Consulting.

After 25 years of successfully selling toys to over 25,000 shops in the UK, BJ Toys goes online with a new ecommerce website design developed by Pixel8 in Manchester.

Pixel8’s ecommerce website solution is a sophisticated website that seamlessly links their stock management system with the website, ensuring that the products are available at the time of order.

Payment and delivery detail management is also automated making the whole fulfillment experience part of the main business. Fully managed and hosted on a dedicated server, an SQL database was set up with web services enabling seamless interaction with the main business data warehouse.
